A 30 Year Legacy
Since 1994, Pack 5 has influenced countless families throughout the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
Diversity is our strength. Our families represent nationalities from all over the world. Our Cub Scouts are enrolled in international and Japanese schools throughout Tokyo, Yokohama & Saitama. We embrace cultural diversity and welcome families from all backgrounds and walks of life.
We are affiliated with the United States Embassy Tokyo, chartered by the American School in Japan (ASIJ), and are a member of the Scouting America Far East Council.
Monthly Meetings
Every month our entire Pack meets at an exciting location throughout the Kanto region. We participate in a group activity, demonstrate our newly acquired skills, and celebrate our fellow Scouts’ successes.
Our Dens meet 1-2 times a month to focus on age-appropriate activities and adventures that will advance their Rank.
We understand the demands on your family’s time. Our volunteer Den Leaders will work with their Scouts to find convenient and expeditious times to complete their activities.
An All-Volunteer Team
As a Parent-led organization, we are committed to creating a fun, experiential, and enriching youth program for our children.
Our parents - comprised of diplomats, journalists, business executives, military service members, medical professionals, and educators - offer social and professional networking opportunities for newcomers to Japan.
